Ultraviolence

Music has always been as important to me as fashion so I'm introducing Little Black Beau playlists, sharing songs and artists which inspire me and reflect my ever changing mood and style.

My love affair with Lana Del Rey continues to grow with the release of her new album which I literally can't stop listening to since buying it in June. If you see me on public transport and I look a little emotional, I'm probably lost in one of her hauntingly beautiful songs.

The new music video for her title track Ultraviolence, has already reached over a million views since the release three days ago. Some loving the simplicity and beauty while others criticise its lack of creativity, you can't deny it is visually stunning and reflects her style to a T.

Wilderness

Wandering around the countryside on a sizzling hot afternoon, we found this old abandoned house in an overgrown grass paddock. Wearing my essentials leopard print, leather look and red lipstick. What would a country shoot be without windblown hair and a rusty fence to top it off.

Smell The Roses

A stroll through the Shepparton gardens with flowers in full bloom, they perfectly complimented my new Mink Pink dress. I treasured this warm day in the country considering Melbourne's lack of summer like days during November. Now that it's officially summer and I can finally show some skin, perhaps I can manage to even my tan out a little.

The Railroad

On a little trip to Shepparton this week, we stopped by these rail road tracks which luckily doesn't have too many trains passing by. Wearing this simple black shift dress by Mink Pink and the most comfortable Sportsgirl chunky sandals ever made, also managing to look nice while giving me some much needed extra height. Also wearing Kookai cuff, Marc by Marc Jacobs watch and Sportsgirl necklaces.
