Spring Fashion Week Style

I would say that lace is back but honestly did it ever leave us? One of my first ever blog posts four years ago was discussing the trend of black lace. In years gone by the trend has matured with us, with silhouettes changing to a much more wearable midi length for this Spring. A much classier length while still showing a little skin, it's the perfect balance.

For Melbourne Spring Fashion Week I wore this look from Bardot with heels from Wittner. The Lumi heel features laser cut details in black suede and a comfortable heel height for a day in the city.

Thank you so much to Luke from Turbine Pictures for these photographs.

The Speckle Jacket

For the Spring Style runway at MSFW a few weeks ago I wore this printed blazer from Bardot. Keeping it classic in head to toe black and white, I paired it with a silk tee from Sportsgirl and skinny high rise jeans from Bardot. This tote bag from Myer Miss Shop has become my everyday essential, somehow fitting my endless list of items. Do I need dry shampoo and a hairbrush with me at all times? Maybe not but they fit.

Street Smith

I was lucky enough to shoot with Liz from Street Smith for Wittner shoes during Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. I'm wearing Frushe in white leather from their current Sports Luxe collection, which you can shop here.
I've loved the white on white trend which has been dominant for this Spring, so I styled this head to toe white look while also incorporating my favourite essential, stripes. The blazer, top and midi stripe skirt are from Bardot

Photos were taken by Street Smith and owned by Wittner shoes.

The Wolf & I

A few weeks back I was invited to The Wolf and I on Chapel street in Windsor, with Denver Styles for what can only be described as one of the best meals I've ever had. Ordering the vegetarian risotto, I was surprised and delighted when the plate was placed in front of me. At first questioning if it was the correct meal since I've never seen a risotto cake before. The Wolf and I certainly offer more than regular pub food. We then had a peak upstairs at the newly renovated cocktail lounge.

Wittner Runway At MSFW

Yesterday I attended the Wittner runway at city square for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. The show included a mix of models and dancers to create a unique runway, showcasing the trends for Spring/Summer. It's all about the shoes!

Neon life
Neon bright watermelon heels, featuring a double ankle strap and cute bow detail.

Athletic attitude
Sport luxe footwear, chunky sneaker style wedges. New styles are in lighter colours with peep toes for the warmer season.

Pastel dreams
Pretty pastel tones including mint and melon, in strappy styles and wedges. Peep toes are perfect for the Spring season.

Punk odyssey
Black with edgy details like studs, metal toe caps and cut outs.

Centenary Collection
In celebration of Wittner's 100 year anniversary comes this exclusive collection hand crafted with Swarovski crystals. Beautiful embellishment and colours.

Outfit for the day - Sportsgirl peplum top, zoe blazer, graffiti tube and origami plate necklace.
Since majority of the outfit was black and white, I added this necklace and hot pink lipstick for a pop of colour.
