Smell The Roses

A stroll through the Shepparton gardens with flowers in full bloom, they perfectly complimented my new Mink Pink dress. I treasured this warm day in the country considering Melbourne's lack of summer like days during November. Now that it's officially summer and I can finally show some skin, perhaps I can manage to even my tan out a little.

A Vineyard Wedding

A few weeks ago I attended a family member's beautiful wedding at a vineyard in the country. I wore this White Suede shift dress with a hot pink clutch, purple peep toes and Pandora rings. I finished off the look with bright pink lipstick and lilac nail polish. I wanted to bring the wonderful colours in the floral print out, the main reason I was first drawn to the dress. I had seen the same print featured on other garments on White Suedes instagram account and was so pleased to find it also came in this shift dress cut.

50s Cocktail

Last month marked my 21st birthday, so what better way to celebrate than to have a 50s cocktail themed party complete with retro candy and red velvet cupcakes. It's no secret that I'm obsessed with 1950's style so I just loved seeing my friends dolled up. I found the perfect dress at Review, full of feminine silhouettes and prints which are perfect for the vintage inspired style I was after. Just add pearls, red lipstick, curled locks and I was set.

The Gothic Girl

Photographs of the amazing Gothic Girl section for May at Sportsgirl Chadstone. I love the visual merchandising details, the glitter embellished horns and wild hair with bats attached.
It's all about girly looks with a slight gothic edge: black, velvet, sequins, polkadots, florals, lace, touches of magenta and sheer fabrics.

I took a bit of gothic girl inspiration and wore this Amelia Floral Dress while working at Chadstone VIP day on Wednesday. I wore it with dark burgundy lips, a silver necklace and my new boots from The Iconic.

Festival Style - Coachella

All the images from Coachella circling the web in the past week have been inspiring my festival style. I'm getting pretty pumped for Groovin the Moo in a few weeks, a festival held in Bendigo a small town a couple of hours out of Melbourne.

If only I could pull off gumboots like Kate Bosworth.

All images photographed by Mark Iantosca

Classic festival style: florals, touches of lace, boots, sheer skirts, denim and of course a pair of cool sunnies

Now I hope Groovin the Moo won't be too freezing. Bendigo in May...Cold times.

Vintage Floral

My two favourite things, 50s silhouettes and vintage inspired floral prints. If a dress looks like it could have once been curtains, chances are I'll love it.

This is one of my current work outfits, so it's Sportsgirl of course.

wearing- Sportsgirl Gemma 50s dress $99.95, cafe society belt $16.95,
Betts nude heels

mix of sportsgirl bracelets, old sportsgirl flower ring, lucky star nails $7.95, fuchsia lipstick $9.95

The large floral print on white reminds me of the dress Marilyn wore for a scene in her last film 'Something's got to give' in 1962, which was left unfinished. They also both have a higher neckline with a v in the back.

For those of you that love her as much as me, here's the scene with the dress.

Garden Dress

I was lucky enough that my birthday was one of the sunniest days we've had in Melbourne so far this spring. So what would be better to wear than a little floral dress.

Wearing Sportsgirl asymmetrical floral dress, I bought this for $34.95 down from $99.95, washed vintage owl necklace $19.95, patsy tote in cherry $59.95

The dress is such a light material, it's perfect for those warmer days. Also love the big floral print and asymmetrical hem.

My friend took me to this lovely little place Eden for brunch. We sat in the sun in the courtyard and ate eggs on toast, yumm. Funnily enough my order was called the Garden of Eden, fits perfectly with the dress :P
