Making this classic colour combination modern by adding chunky cuffs, strappy heels, statement necklaces and earrings. My favourite looks would have to be the two peplum dresses. Oh you know how I love a good peplum. 
Even though these looks are from the Resort Collection, it's great how they could even be worn in our Winter here if you add sheer black tights.
I truly love all his collections, there's such an elegance to Oscar De Le Renta's clothing.

The Gothic Girl

Photographs of the amazing Gothic Girl section for May at Sportsgirl Chadstone. I love the visual merchandising details, the glitter embellished horns and wild hair with bats attached.

It's all about girly looks with a slight gothic edge: black, velvet, sequins, polkadots, florals, lace, touches of magenta and sheer fabrics.

I took a bit of gothic girl inspiration and wore this Amelia Floral Dress while working at Chadstone VIP day on Wednesday. I wore it with dark burgundy lips, a silver necklace and my new boots from The Iconic.

Every other winter my coats have been black, camel or grey. This year I'm going for the colours! I've already bought a bright red one and an amazing teal cacoon coat. I'm also eyeing off a berry coloured one which came into store today, hopefully it'll be mine.

Ethnic Shift Dress

On Saturday I spent the day in Bendigo for Groovin the Moo, a music festival here in Aus. Country Victoria gets pretty chilly this time of year so I chose this long sleeved ethnic print shift dress. I'm loving bold prints and colours at the moment.

Here I'm wearing head to toe Sportsgirl. I took these quick snaps with my new SLR camera before I left, I didn't want to risk having it at a festival before my camera bag comes in the mail from ebay! it should be here soon so lots of photos to come. The festival was amazing, really enjoyed City and Colour, 360, Kimbra and Hilltop hoods.
