Winter Warmers

Saturday I rugged up in layers of knits to beat the winter chill, including this knit snow flake tube skirt (you know, since it doesn't actually snow in Melbourne... it's the closest I'll get)
My whole outfit is from Sportsgirl and my boots are from The Iconic. I swear I've been living in this chunky black cardi and these boots lately, they're both so comfy and go with almost everything in my wardrobe.

This silver cuff came into store this past week, I love a touch of metal. It also comes in rose gold. You've seen the silver necklace before but it's still available here.
I love this location in Abbotsford, where I went to a vintage market on the weekend. Just outside of the frame were three massive bags full of vintage pieces. It's safe to say my day was a success!

Little Black Sequin Dress

This is the first of many dresses I bought on my vintage shopping day that I posted about in March.

Classic style. I was very pleased to find this treasure mixed within the explosion of 'out there' pieces. I bought a couple of similar ones in colours which I'll share with you later. I plan on selling all of these later in the year but for now I'm just building up my inventory.

I took some inspiration from some of my pins on my Beauty board and did a slight wavy bob and burgundy lips to go with the vintage style of the dress.

Vintage Day

Today was a big shopping day for me, with a couple of clearance vintage pop up sales on. Amazing pieces at unbelievable prices, what's not to love.

These racks of sequin pieces were the first to catch my eye. This meant I had to carry the heavy sequins around for the next hour while I looked at the many other racks. My arms are so sore...this was my workout for the week!

For crazy sales like this, it's good to wear comfortable clothes. I wore this Asos top which was delivered earlier in the week, nice and light weight silk. Worn with my Sportsgirl skirt, gold collar and Forever New sling.

I ended up buying 18 dresses, including 5 sequin ones! I'll share the items I bought with you later on but for now here's a sneak peek at some of the vintage glitter goodness.
