The Print Revolution

Here comes the print revolution. Sportsgirl have created unique prints for certain pieces to be released throughout the spring/summer season. Here I'm wearing the marble printed tunic which arrived earlier in August. I love the mix of colours in this kind of kaleidoscope print, with a split side seam and asymmetrical hem.

A few weeks ago I bought this hot pink lipstick, shade 20 from Kate Moss for Rimmel London. Those of you who read my posts would know, I don't think any outfit is complete without a bold coloured lipstick.

 

 Each of the items have a print revolution tag attached which reads..

The Stylish Sportsgirls

Relating to my last post about the Sportsgirl Spring Summer '12 Preview, here are the outfits my lovely girls from Knox wore that night.













































Casey - wore tali peplum top, red shorts, hayley bead stud necklace and neon sandals from Forever New

Hannah - wore exotica shift dress, denim jacket and fashion block boot

Bec - wore scarf print shirt, pixie legging, major link necklace and fuchsia heels

Stefania - wore metallic slinky tank, simple segmented necklace and leather leggings from Lolitta.

Lastly, here's the dress I wore for the preview (I mentioned how much I loved this dress in my recent August Lookbook post)

So I have some exciting and also sad news, this was my last week at the Knox store! After almost two years with these wonderful ladies, I'm moving on to the big wide world of Chadstone. I want to dedicate this post to these amazing girls, I truly love each of them so much and each day they have inspired me.

Sportsgirl SS12 Preview

On Wednesday night we got to attend our Spring Summer '12 preview. Spring is my favourite season of the year so I always look forward to seeing the new looks. The preview covered the key trends for the next 3 months, each including casual and day to night looks.

August - casual

Exotica Girl

I love the digital prints featured throughout August, there's heaps more throughout the other months too! Plenty of exotic, floral and kaleidoscope prints.
 

September - casual

Mexicana Girl

-featuring exotic mexican prints, aztec, embroidery, coloured and washed denim

-strong use of colour including tangerine, turquoise, coral and chartreuse

-aztec print continues in the accessories, statement necklaces, rings and slings

September - day to night

Retro Daisy Girl
-retro girly silhouettes, including shifts, A line skirts and high waisted pieces
-key colours are pastels like mint, peach, lilac, lemon and baby blue
-featuring lace and florals

-pops of colour on accessories, soles of shoes and touches of neon on jewellery

My favourite piece is definitely the first dress from exotica girl, the scarf print shift. You know I love ethnic prints and this shift style is so easy to wear. It arrived in stores and online on Friday! You'll most likely see me wear it in the next couple of weeks.
